IDA 5.4
IDA 5.4 is built for production workloads. The new version improves recognition of challenging documents, adds support for the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, and makes extraction and LLM training workflows more transparent.
Existing customers benefit from performance improvements, in many cases without a hardware upgrade.

IDA in action
From incoming invoice processing to complex file digitization: IDA adapts flexibly to your industry and processes.
–––––– WHAT’S NEW WITH IDA 5.4? ––––––
Improved text recognition for challenging documents
IDA 5.4 recognizes thin fonts and faded documents more reliably than before. Diagonal text is also processed with greater precision. This reduces manual corrections for documents that were previously problematic.

Multi-page redaction
Redactions in IDA 5.4 work across page boundaries. Multi-page documents are treated consistently; sensitive information remains fully obscured even when it spans several pages.
Improved extraction training evaluation
Validation results are displayed more clearly, new training data can be labelled faster, and LLM prompts are more prominently visible. Customers reach the required accuracy through shorter iteration cycles and more precise model analysis.

Updated invoice module
In the IDA 5.4 Web Client, tables are now also supported visually. As part of this, the data structure of the Invoice module has been revised and is now consistent across all table types.
Important: The updated Invoice module is no longer compatible with IDA 5.3. Our support is happy to help with migration.
Improved white-label capability
Branding elements such as colors and logos can be customized faster in IDA 5.4. Implementation is handled by PLANET AI’s Customer Success team. Relevant for all partners deploying IDA under their own branding.

Support for NVIDIA Blackwell architecture
IDA 5.4 supports the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, offering greater flexibility in hardware selection. At the same time, the new version processes large document volumes faster and runs more stably under sustained load.
